Had a laporoscopy today. I have 3 small incisions that are quite painful. The source of all my pain has been found. I had lots of adhesions. The dr. got all of them except the ones binding my intestines to my uterus. That could be kind of scary you think? I was supposed to come home today but was super swollen in my abdomen and having trouble controlling my surgery pain. The drs kept me overnight so I came home on the morning of the 22nd.

Update 5-24-08 I am doing tons better. The pain decreases each day and the swelling has gone way down. I am not able to sleep on my tummy yet. That will be an exciting day! So will being able to sleep on my side. Can't do that yet either. :)

Happy Memorial Day!

Thank you Russell for all you do in serving our country. By doing so you are showing our boys what it means to be a good citizen for our country. Thank you for serving in the Army so we can have the freedoms we enjoy in this great country we live in! Thank you!

My blog will be "under construction" so to speak so I can get the archive to actually archive and clean up my blog a little bit! Enjoy the chaos cuz I hope it won't be around long! :) Therefore all those old posts will pretend to be new just so I can have some organization!

Don't ever leave home without telling someone or writing it down! Our neighbor left this morning about 5:45 a.m. and told his wife where he was off to - but - she has Alzheimer's. Two hours after he left she came over just sick because he hadn't returned yet. So we called 911 and all kinds of sherriff people came over and search and rescue was here as well. Don - our neighbor was finally spotted about 2 miles down the road about 30 minutes ago. He had driven his little moped/motorcycle to Pacific City and back! That's roughly 90 miles round trip! Betty - his wife was much relieved as was everyone else. Whew! What a morning and it's not even 10:30 yet!

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
