Today Michael turns 7. He had a party and only one of his friends could come. He still had fun anyway. They played with airplanes outside and had birthday cake inside. They also had fun playing with the track his friend gave him. It was a beautiful day for a party!

Okay. So I went to the family dr. again last night as my side/stomach area is still giving me problems. The dr's office called today and I go in Thursday for a CAT scan of my abdomen and then I will have an appointment on the 22nd with Dr. Pitts - general surgeon. Dr. Bradburn - family dr. - said they will just have to open me up and see what's going on. It could really be my gall bladder OR it could a lot of adhesions as I have had 5 abdominal surgeries in the past 9 years. That's his thinking anyway. I best finish making dinner and get a shower. All I know is the medicine that was prescribed to me makes me really sleepy, nauseated/dizzy. Not all at once. They come out of the blue. N/D don't last long but when I get sleepy - I am out for a while. :) The meds are supposed to help my abdomen pain. It doesn't do much in that regard.

Okay. Last night at 9 p.m. I had to drink the first bottle of barium sulfate. It was a lot more palatable than the trylite I had to take in March for the colonoscopy - that's for sure! I got a little over half way on my own then had to take sips of juice inbetween drinks. I drank all but about 1/2 inch. I couldn't finish the entire bottle. Russell gave me a blessing this a.m. that I would be able to drink the second bottle. I have drink 1/2 of it at 11 a.m. and the other half at 12:30 p.m. My appt is at 1 p.m. for a CAT scan.

The dr office called today with results from the CAT scan yesterday. There is an abnormality with concern from the radiologist. The dr wanted me to have a pelvic ultrasound so I told the nurse she needed to contact my OBGYN dr as I just had one last week. This may change things concerning our Thursday appt with the surgeon. Things maybe will start moving along and I can have some relief.

It is 12:40. I leave to see the dr. in about 20 minutes. Most of the day yesterday my side was hurting pretty bad. The pain is more intense and more frequent as time goes on. The on-call dr. last night happened to be our family dr. He said make an appt today with the OBGYN dr. I hope they do something soon. I feel very lethargic and tired and my side hurts.Okay - I have a laproscopy scheduled for tomorrow the 20th. I hope they find something.
