24 March 2008

Last night was probably the hardest in my whole little life. I started to drink the trilyte at 4 p.m. yesterday. I couldn't do it. I kept gagging and couldn't keep it down. :( We finally got a hold of the dr. and around 7:30 p.m. I started back up again - this time drinking it with gatorade. It helped a lot. I was only able to drink about 3 cups of the trylite though. I started having clear diarrhea at 11:30 last night - so I quit drinking the stuff and went to bed. This morning the diarrhea is water - but yellow in color. I hope it won't affect the testing. I can't stomach any more of the drink. :(

Well the endoscopy and colonoscopy weren't as bad as I anticipated - because I don't remember them! :) Getting to that - was a whole different story - read yesterday's post. Dr. Vallejo took biopsies from both procedures and the clinic will call when the biopsy results come back. Apparently what I could get down of the trylite worked as the pictures I got look squeaky clean! I feel very drowsy today though. They gave me a combo of demorol and valium to sedate me. The nurse told me they had to give me more sedation during the procedure as well. I vaguely remember trying to make people stop putting stuff in my mouth. :)

It's Spring Break. This is what we woke up to this morning! How exciting is this?

The gastroenterology center called me back today to tell me all my biopsies are normal. That's comforting to know - except my side is still bothering me. :( I have an appointment in May with the OBGYN doctor. Maybe she can enlighten me. :) This is the update.

Today Michael turns 7. He had a party and only one of his friends could come. He still had fun anyway. They played with airplanes outside and had birthday cake inside. They also had fun playing with the track his friend gave him. It was a beautiful day for a party!

I just love this picture! The beach...it's the place to be!

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
