2010 June Dairy Parade

Since being in Tillamook, we miss the 4th of July Parades Eagar, AZ has every year. Here - the big summer parade is the June Dairy Parade followed by the rodeo and then the fair later in August. There were many entries in the parade this year over 115. That's when I lost count.

We found good seats. We are just waiting. Some of us more patiently than others.
Who can this handsome man be? I haven't seen him in a while. :) Hi dear hubby!

1,2,3,4 I declare a thumb war!

Some friends of ours - the Reynolds family.

Russell and Candace courtesy of Nephi!

I only took pictures of the entries that appealed to me and related to where we live. Here we have the Tillamook Creamery Baby Loaf. It goes all over the place.

The Tillamook Smoker. They have yummy pepperoni sticks!

The United States Coast Guard is just up the road.

A really cool fire truck.
No need to see the Rose Parade in Portland. The Royal Rosarians came here!
This is one of the big PUD trucks we wash as YM/YW and Boy/Cub Scouts to earn camp money.

Russell liked this truck.

Lots of clowns in and around. They are a fun group of people.

Here the drummer is the principal at East Elementary. Donovan and Chris had him. Michael will this coming year. The guy with the hat works with Russell up at Neah-Kah-Nie. Michael Simpson is his name.
Some loggers.

One of the young men from our ward....Todd J.

Brother Rees driving an entry.

Tillamook apparently has a Swiss Society!

Complete with polka music!

Brother Jones and his grandson Seth with an entry.

One of our young women - Natalie W. in the wheelchair.

More clowns.
The library's summer reading program! Michael and Nephi are in a little competition actually to see who can read the most.
Yet another clown! "Give me a high four!"

Kaitlyn L. is also in our ward and was part of this entry.
