Introducing....

The Black Pearl!

And you thought I was talking about the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean. Admit it. You really did.
This nice van is the newest addition to our family! We looked at it last Saturday while waiting for our tax money to return. Luckily it hadn't sold yet. Who says God isn't watching out for us. We've been praying and hoping we could get this van. Some other people had looked at it after us and were mad it wasn't "detailed." Whatever. We have no problem vacuumming the car out or wiping down the seats. Sheesh. It has under 94,000 miles and we felt really good about it.

And the color in case you are wondering....is black pearl. The boys being boys immediately thought Pirates of the Caribbean. :) Welcome to my world. All of it!

YAY! I'm so happy for you guys! You deserve it! And now you can become a "_HRYS_ER TOWN&_____" just like Mom and Dad's van! Ours is a "_HRYS_ER TOWN&COUNTRY" ...we haven't lost the "country" part yet. LOL!

Erich says that the charcoal color is his one of his favorites on those vans. He wants to know, since you guys live in cow country, if your van is an Angus or a Limousin.

Your comment about the "black pearl" made me think about my friend Megan and her minivan. She told me she named her new minivan "Denzel" because it was black and handsome. LOL!

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
