Do you hear what I hear?

My sister Becky has this summed up really well.
Last night I was sleeping soundly. All of a sudden I wake up hearing little pitter patter feet of a mouse scurrying across the floor in the other room. I wake up Russell. This is 3 a.m. He doesn't hear anything. I try going back to sleep. A few minutes later I hear it again. I wake up Russell again. This goes on for some time. Eventually he gets up and goes to the other room to check on flood conditions on the computer. I figure if he's out in the other room there must not be a mouse in the house. I venture out to see if I can still hear anything.
Nada.
Nothing.
Zip.
We go back to bed. I start to fall asleep and start hearing pitter patters running across the ceiling - the roof side of course.
Did you hear that? How can you not hear that? It was right over our heads!
Am I going crazy here? I certainly feel like it. How come you can't hear these noises? Is this mouse just out to get me?

I probably should mention this isn't the first time this has happened either.
So....
Do you hear what I hear?

Love your story...because this has happened to me; my husband thinks I'm hearing things, but I wonder.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Remember...men don't "hear" the same things we do! I definitely believe you. Have him put out some traps to make you happy.

Well Russell went under the house last night to check on the rat bait we put under there a few months ago. A couple weeks ago it was still there. Last night it was all gone so he put out more. Last night I didn't hear anything.

I just love this picture! The beach...it's the place to be!

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
