To finish the afghan on the left. The pattern is the Fisherman's Circle. I started it back when I was serving in the Relief Society Presidency. That was over 2 1/2 years ago. My dear mother-in-law had to walk me through all the steps until I had them memorized. I don't read crochet patterns very well. Thanks Mom! I am happy to say I finished it last night.
The afghan on the right is Nephi's. He loves it very much. I am working on afghans for each of the other boys and will finish as I have yarn to work on them.

Congrats! I really like the white one it looks beautiful! Your boys are so lucky... I can't crochet anything very well. Last time I tried to make a potholder (square shaped) and it came out looking like a triangle of some sorts. No blankets for the kids from me. :)
Don't feel bad! 2 1/2 years ago is when I actually somewhat got the hang of crocheting! The sisters in Relief Society wanted a crochet class to learn how. I went and now I can do a few things. Maybe your ward can have one and you can learn. :)
Beautiful! I agree...your boys will probably have a rude awakening when they get married!
Congrats! What a great accomplishment! Maybe someday-maybe not. They look great!
It's beautiful, Candace! And Nephi is lucky to have the special one that you made for him too.
