A sunny afternoon at the beach!

We have been having some really beautiful weather over here on the Oregon coast. The boys have been asking and asking if they could go to the beach. So....after getting a bunch of stuff done for day camp by me and the garden weeded by Russell we took the boys down to Oceanside for a while.
The mom and the dad.
Russell climbing the rock. Maybe he's looking for tide pools. Not really sure.

The boys are climbing rocks. If things aren't looking familiar - it's because we went to the beach on the other side of the tunnel in the mountain. Never very many people there and lots of cool caves to explore.

Other than it being windy - it was a really nice day!

Some really cool lime green algae. Apparently the water gets really high.

Four brothers enjoying the water. Even if it was a bit cold. But they didn't mind. So they said.

Who is that sexy man? He keeps popping up in my pictures! :)

Nephi climbing barefoot on the rocks.

Hello again you handsome man.
The boys deposited their personal possessions so they could play in the water. Some of them oblivious to the fact that they probably will be wearing sandy shoes and clothes when they come back to claim their stuff.
Oh goodie! We can play in the water? Really?
A really huge, really cool cave.

Another really big cave to explore.

I really like this beach... think we might have to go to Oceanside next time. We usually end up in Cannon Beach or Seaside.

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
