26 July 2008 - Donovan returns!

Donovan came home from his week long boy scout campout. He had a blast. I am so glad he has awesome scout leaders. He earned the Wilderness Survival badge, Rifle, they are finishing up Nature and Geology. Certainly very exciting stuff! For the Wilderness Survival his scoutmaster gave each boy a tarp, sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, jacket and beenie hat. They had to find their own little camping spot in a designated area and sleep there overnight. I will say those boys are brave! I wouldn't want to do that. They were in Eastern Oregon and there were snakes. I will post pictures when I get Donovan's film developed. I am glad he is home. Our family is complete once again. I am glad he had fun.

So the family is complete once more. Wonderful! I'm sure he has lots of stories to tell - and I'm sure all of you are so happy for his return. Enjoy!!!

How fun for Donovan! Can't believe our kids are old enough for sleep-away camp. Bella's going to Girls Camp next week and Brennan's already home from his.

Candace, How are you? I think of you and your family after you moved from eagar. Your family of boys are really growing. Time flies doesn't it. It's good to see your cute boys. Our oldest son is on a mission now and our daugter is a senior, can you believe it? Take care, Rachel Wiltbank

Hey Rachel!
How is your family doing! It's been 3 years since we've left Eagar. We really miss all the wonderful friends we've made there. We are hoping when Russell is done with the Army National Guard this fall that next summer we can finally take a road trip. Time does fly. Our oldest is in Jr. High this year and our youngest will start kindergarten. I will have 1/2 day all to myself. It will be weird at first.

Welcome Home Donovan! Ryan's leaving on Monday and he's doing the same wilderness survival badge thingie. (LOL) So I'm going out today and getting all his supplies that we don't already have.

I just love this picture! The beach...it's the place to be!

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
