American ABC's

We had our annual Cub Scout Blue and Gold banquet on Friday the 27th of February. The theme for the month was American ABC's. We decided to have a an All American breakfast! There were pancakes, cereal, eggs, hashbrowns, juice, muffins, fruit and milk. The kids loved it.

The cub scout families enjoying their dinners.
Just after we set up. We went with a patriotic theme for decorations. I found the flags online and they are very good quality. I will be hanging on to them for future use.

Our centerpieces.

All the doughnuts I made for the dinner. We didn't bring any home. They are Krispy Kreme copycats.

We did American Hero theme. I was in charge of the food. We had Hero sandwiches with chips, pickles and apple pie and ice cream.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
