Do YOU think it's warm enough to play in the water? We do!

The story today. Grab a comfortable blanket and some hot cocoa. These kids sure needed it after their little escapade today! Our weather hasn't been very warm - much less sunny. Well the sun peeped out today and the first thing the kids want to do is PLAY in the sand. Okay. Then they turn on the WATER and flood the sand. Okay. Then they start throwing sand at each other. Okay. That just means they can't come in for a LONG time! They were out there for probably 1 1/2 hours having a ball. Mercedes (pink girl) was wearing warm pants and turtleneck. She had enough sense to fold up her pants - but they got wet anyway. My boys just played with their pants the way they were. They wouldn't think to do something so female. When they had sufficiently froze I went to check on them. The three younger ones were goosebumpy and shaking so bad at back door I forgot to take a picture. Just picture a wet dog with big droopy eyes. That would sum up these guys. I hope you enjoyed your cocoa and that your blanket was nice and warm. Let's see what tomorrow brings. I need to give Benji a bath now.

Fun pics. That is the same thing my girls have been doing all summer...playin' in the water!

Playing in the water is fun. However - our day temps haven't been higher than 60 or so. It's not exactly warm to be getting wet outside. Oh to be a child again and resiliant to the weather! :)

I just love this picture! The beach...it's the place to be!

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
