It was a good day. A very good day.

Hey everyone! Look who came home last night! :) This pic was actually taken this morning while he was eating breakfast. Russell has been gone since 29 July to Yakima, WA and Boise, ID doing stuff with the Oregon Army National Guard. He still has stuff to do during the day at the armory today thru Sunday but he will be home in the evenings now. Yay!

Making Peach Freezer Jam. Michael is my helper. Michael loves mixing. Well really he loves anything in the kitchen he can get his hands on. He is master egg fryer (his favorite breakfast by the way) and bread toaster. Yesterday though he did discover the having only 2 eggs for breakfast and nothing else leaves an empty tummy the rest of the morning.
Announcing Nephi the leg breaker! Actually he is sitting sort of on the chest yelling noises into a plastic tube that goes with his pirate ship. He even slept through the night last night. No noises - no nothing. Why couldn't he do that when Russell was gone? Inquiring minds (mine really) need to know!

Freezer jam...looks so good. You amaze me! Glad your hubbie came home. It is such a nice feeling and one I know well having a husband that has been traveling a lot lately!

I think this was in 2004. It was Nephi's first trip to the beach. The boys were all so little! My have they grown.

Meet the Parents...Russell and Candace
It all started for us when Russell left for Cape Town South Africa on a mission. Candace felt inspired to write him - so she did! We wrote for 3 1/2 years. Candace came home from her mission to the Texas Houston East Mission and we dated for 5 months. We married in July 1994 and have been happy ever after!
