We have two boys in mens' shoe sizes now. Our 12 year old and almost 11 year old are now wearing men's 8 1/2 shoe sizes! Our 7 year old is not far behind. He is into the big boys' size 5. That just jumped school shoe shopping up A LOT! (I dare you to say school shoe shopping 5 times fast.)
My body hurts. My whole abdomen area hurts, my back hurts, my arms hurt. From moving Nephi around. I can't wait for Russell to come home to help with the moving part. I keep praying for the strength I need to move this broken leg boy around but end up feeling like I have a few hernias in the making. (I've already had my share of those.) Maybe in four more weeks little squirt will be able to put weight on his leg. Right now that phase of leg healing is out of the question. Spiral fractures take a long time to heal.

Poor girl. :(
I've had hernias too. Once they had me on the table, they had to repair five - one for each kid. :) Wow, we must be related!
oh my gosh - your poor back and tummy! i know 5 years olds can be heavy on their own - but add a cast and they may as well be 6' tall adult males. my heart and prayers go out to you. have you tried delving into your rice reserves, filling a cut-up and tied up jammie leg with about 2 pounds of it then nuking it? it really feels good - and because it's bulky but flexy can really conform to what hurts. oh and it gets warm - but doesn't get hot enough to burn anything. i'm thinking about you dear. hugs!
